LSU finished the regular season 12-0! That's right we went undefeated for the first time during the regular season since 2011. This is huge for LSU because it almost guarantees a number 1 or 2 spot for us in the playoffs. This will be the fist time that LSU would have made the college football playoffs since in was created in 2014. Before the playoffs we have to play in the SEC championship vs Georgia. This is also the first time we have been in the SEC championship since 2011. This season means so much to LSU and the fans.  Over the weekend LSU beat Texas A&M on senior night. LSU has a ton of starters that play a lot of minutes. The most important player of them all is our quarterback Joe Burrow. And if you haven't heard he is number 1 in the Heisman running. If Joe can pull it out, it would be the first Heisman that LSU had ever had. This is truly an exciting time for the players and fans of LSU.

Well to be honest, I can not remember what game I left off with last time when talking about LSU football. What I can tell you now is that LSU is now ranked number 1 in the entire country. Yes, I typed that right number 1! LSU beat Florida and Auburn in the past three weeks who were each in the top ten. Now, LSU has now beaten 3 top ten teams this year. That is what made the voters put us at number 1. This is the first time since 2011 that we have been ranked number 1. LSU doesn't have a game next week because we have a bye week. That means we don't play a game this Saturday. But in 2 weeks, we play the number 2 team in the country Alabama Crimson Tide. This will be the game of the century as it is number 1 vs number 2. LSU has not beaten Alabama since 2011. The game will be played in Alabama next Saturday at 2:30. This will be the game of the year and I can't wait to watch it.

I'm going to keep the LSU football talk going for my 5th post. Last weekend on Saturday night, LSU played the number 7 team in the county Florida. We ended up beating them 42-28. This is a huge win for LSU. We went from being ranked 5 up to number 2. We passed up some really good teams, now the only team that is in front of us is number 1Alabama. LSU will travel to Tuscaloosa alabama on November 9th to take on the tide in a game that is a toss up. It's going to be a game of the ages number 1 against number 2.   Another LSU sport that is about to take on another season is LSU basketball. There season starts November 8. Last year the team was very good, we lost to Michigan State in the sweet 16. We lost 3 starters, but we replaced them with some really talented freshman from all over the country. Coach Will Wade is very excited for the season and so are many fans. Also, another thing that is a cool thing that LSU basketball hasn't had in a while is that we will most likely s...

I think for today I'm going to take a break from LSU football and talk about Episcopal basketball. If you didn't know I have played basketball for 4 years, since I have been in high school. We have made the final four teams all four years that I have played. It was the first time that an Episcopal team went to the final four two years in a row. From last years team we lost two senior starters  Brandon and Austin. We were really good last year, but had a bad loss to country day in the final four in Lake Charles. This year I think that we will be very good on the basketball court. The bad thing about this year is that we don't have that many home games. But hopefully that won't matter too much, I think we will get better by playing more games on the road. This year we have a lot of depth and and I think will be better tan last year. Practice starts next week and our first game is in a month and a half. The whole team is super exited and can't wait for the season to s...

LSU is now 3-0 in football! We have now beaten then number nine team in the country, Texas. Then last weekend we beat Northwestern State. We are now ranked number four in the country, behind Clemson, Alabama, and Georgia. This is a big deal because the top four teams make the playoffs. Joe Burrow, our quarterback is still in the Heisman race, which is the best player in college football. He is in third place behind Alabama quarterback and Oklahoma quarterback. If Burrow was able to keep this up he would be only the second winner that LSU has ever had. The other was Billy Cannon.         LSU next game is against Vanderbilt this Saturday. The game is at 11 o'clock and is the first conference game that LSU plays. LSU should win this game because Vanderbilt is not very good. They are 0-2 this year and is looking for their first win. LSU does have some defensive injures though, so that could pose a problem if we have to sub. After Vanderbilt LSU has ...

As you know last time I wrote about LSU football and their week 1 matchup vs Georgia Southern. Well if you don't know we played them this Saturday and won 55-3! Now its no surprise that we won, but winning by 52 points is making a statement! LSU fans are thrilled around the country about how good we looked. The offense had 28 points just in the first quarter. Also Myles Brennan played the whole second half, which is great experience.        Now we have to look forward to week 2 vs Texas. They are the number 10 ranked team in the country. Even though they have a high ranking they only have a 20% chance of beating LSU according to ESPN. If LSU wants to make the playoffs the need to win this game because beating Alabama is going to be a hard challenge later on in the year. This is going to be a very good year for LSU and I can't wait for the week 2 matchup vs Texas.

I think what I'm going to talk mainly about for the first two quarters of the school year is going to be college football. Now I don't play football currently, but I used too. I played flag football for 4 years with all my friends when we were back in lower school. Then, I played tackle football during middle school and that was a really good experience too. I take basketball really seriously and football was getting in the way, is I quite that. I miss football every year, so when LSU football season comes around I am always ready. This year LSU is going to be a very good team. We have most of our offense coming back this year, with one of the best defenses in the country. Also, our great quarterback Joe Burrow is coming back for his senior year this year. With his leadership I think LSU will defiantly have another 10 win season. I think that we even have a chance for the college football playoffs. The first game is this Saturday. I hope to see y'all there!
